Caldwell Casting is now the manufacturing base for Performance Metals. All anodes are cast and assembled on site in Maryland, USA.

Martin Wigg, V. P. Anode Products

Martin

Martin Wigg was educated in the U.K. at Coventry University, earning a 1st class honours Bachelor's degree (Summa Cum Laude) in Mechanical Engineering in 1969 and later an MSc in 1978. He is a Chartered Production Engineer.

Martin began his career at Rolls-Royce (Aero Engine Division) in Derby, England, where he served an engineering apprenticeship, and then worked as a Research Engineer. At Guest Keen & Nettlefold, one of Europe’s largest engineering companies, he worked in design, development, production management and sales. Prior to moving to the United States Martin was Director of Engineering for GKN Sankey Vending Ltd.

Martin was Vice President of Engineering for Gross-Given Manufacturing (Automatic Products) in Pennsylvania, where he spearheaded the introduction of a new electronic range of vending machines. Before joining SciCast International and Performance Metals, he worked as Account Director for WPP (the world’s 4th largest Advertising Agency) managing major accounts, including Uncle Ben’s, Nabisco, Wampler and the Norwegian Seafood Council.

Martin was president at SciCast International for 16 years, where he was one of the founders of the Performance Metals product line.

Martin is a keen sailor and keeps his boat on Kent Island, MD.

Barbara Andrew, Office Manager

Barbara handles accounting and internal sales.

Gina Hamlin, Manufacturing Supervisor

Gina supervises manufacturing and handles shipping.

Michael Harding, CEO

Mike is the owner of Caldwell Casting and Kuranda USA. Kuranda is a manufacturing company established in 1987 and based in Annapolis, Maryland, that manufactures the highly successful range of dog beds. Mike took ownership of Caldwell in 2014

Ron Andrew, President

Ron has been with Caldwell since 1986, and was a co-owner of Toolwrights, tool and die shop from 1989 to 1995. He manages the day to day operations at the plant.

He starting as a machinist apprentice, progressing to moldmaker with the North American Phillips Corp. and received his B.S. in management at Wilmington College. He earned his MBA at Salisbury University.

Ron is married with two sons and enjoys outdoors pursuits, including sailing.
